DETROIT – An 11-year-old boy who had been the center of a search in Detroit has been found safe.
Detroit police had issued an alert for Andrew Walker, who was last seen Sunday evening in the 19200 block of Appleton.

Police said his mother told them that he had left home in fear that he was in trouble for an incident that happened earlier in the day.
Police on Monday morning said he had been found and is back home with family.
