Salvation Army provides Christmas breakfast to those in need

They plan on serving more than 1,000 metro Detroit residents

DETROIT – The Salvation Army and Delphi Automotive are providing more than 1,000 metro Detroit residents in need with a Christmas breakfast.

The event takes place Christmas morning at the Masonic Temple and will include a breakfast of eggs, hash browns, fruit and sausage. Those in need will also receive socks, gloves, hats, and toiletry items.

Among the volunteers are football players in town to play in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl on Wednesday.
