Search continues for missing Detroit mother of two

Tamala Wells last seen leaving her westside Detroit home, her car later found abandoned

DETROIT – The search for a missing Detroit mother continues.

Tamala Wells, 33, has been missing since she left her Westside Detroit home 12 days ago. She was driving her white, four-door Pontiac Grand Prix. It was later found abandoned on Coventry Street, between Lantz Avenue and Emery Street.

Wells has a son and a daughter.

Her mother, Donna Davis, flew up from Florida to join the search. She and police are asking for anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward.

Wells is described as a black woman, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and jean shorts.
