So, you think you can sing? How about in front of a jam-packed stadium at Comerica Park and with a $10,000 check on the line?
Calling all firefighters, EMTs, police officers, current military members and veterans, here is your chance to sing the national anthem in front of thousands of Detroit Tigers fans and win a $10,000 grant from Comerica Bank for your station, military unit or charity.
Not only will the winner be able to show off their vocal skills at the Sept. 27 Detroit Tigers game, the hometown hero will also be awarded the grant money with their choice to support:
· improving their police or fire station or further support its efforts to serve the community
· improving their military unit or further support their efforts to serve the community or our country
· benefiting one of the following charities: Wounded Warriors or the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center
The winner will also be given 35 pavilion tickets for the day's game to share with family, friends or colleagues, as well as receive an on-field recognition and check presentation to police, fire/EMS, military or veteran's department representatives before the start of the game.
Think you have what it takes to rock the field before the first pitch? To enter, all you have to do is submit a YouTube video of you singing the national anthem to the Home of the Brave tab on the Comerica Cares Facebook page at http://facebook.com/ComericaCares.
The deadline to enter is Aug. 24.
