Light snow on Thanksgiving

Mostly cloudy, cold with light snow

  Happy Thanksgiving!

It's a chilly start all over SE Michigan with temps in the teens and wind chills near single digits. The good news is, the winds have relaxed and that will help temps heat up a bit today.

We'll see mostly cloudy skies moving in and you can expect a few light snow showers through the morning and afternoon. Our models still calculate an inch of snow or less across Metro Detroit. Highs today will be in the upper 20s to near 30 degrees and less windy SW 5-10 mph.

Black Friday will be cool and pleasant with a little more sunshine expected. Lows will start in the teens to low 20s and then warm up to the low (maybe mid) 30s through Friday afternoon.

The weekend looks dry although a few light snow showers may move through Central and Northern Lower Michigan.

Saturday and Sunday highs will climb a bit into the mid and upper 30s. Grab the latest radar images, cold neighborhood temps, and the weekend forecast on the new ClickOnDetroit app (it's free!) in your app store.
