Happy Memorial Day! We're waking up to a nice and mild morning. Temps are mainly in the 50s to low 60s early will climb back into the low 80s around most of Metro Detroit Monday afternoon with winds SW 7-12 mph.
We'll see plenty of sunshine early, but clouds will begin to fill in through the afternoon and we will see scattered rain and thundershowers in the area later this evening. The hope is to get the trip to the pool in and the BBQ done before any rain chances come. But, keep your eyes to the skies as the threat may come slightly soon. Right now, it looks like around or just after 6 or 7pm.
Tuesday will bring a better chance for rain and more warm weather. Highs tomorrow should hit the upper 70s to low 80s depending on afternoon cloud cover. Rain and thundershowers scattered around SE Michigan after 1pm will come and go through the afternoon and evening. We have not been put under any risk for severe weather tomorrow and we will let you know if any strong spring storms may sneak in there Tuesday. Afternoon plans outdoors may get delayed at best.
Cloud cover will linger on Wednesday but it looks mostly dry. Highs midweek will dip down a bit into the mid 70s. Sunshine comes back Thursday through most of the weekend and temperatures look very comfortable.
