Officials said new charges could come as early as next week against Roger Sweet in the death of his first wife, Marlene Frances Sweet. She was found dead in Farmington Hills.
Roger Sweet is currently jailed on charges in a separate case. He is also a suspect in the disappearance of his current wife, Lezzie Collier Sweet. She has not been seen since her Brownstown Township home caught fire last month.
