Windy, partly cloudy end to the work week

DETROIT – We'll start with day windy, with potential gusts over 40 mph.

Strong wind will be around for kids at the morning bus stops, but then start to settle down as the day progresses.  This morning will actually start partly cloudy as a slot of dry air behind the overnight cold front passes through.

Clouds will then increase, with a slight chance for a spotty afternoon shower.  Temperature-wise, we'll start the day with temps near 50 (colder to the west, and warmer to the east), and only see a small rise into the mid-50s during the day.

Cloudy skies tonight with scattered showers, and lows dropping into the low 40s.

Then expect a mostly cloudy Saturday with scattered showers.  Highs only near 50.  Sunday should start out partly cloudy, and then become mostly sunny, with highs in the mid 40s.
