Macomb man killed in motorcycle crash

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 22-year-old Macomb man was killed Thursday morning after he crashed his motorcycle in the grassy area near northbound Groesbeck Highway in Clinton Township.

Police say the man was traveling northbound in the right lane of Groesbeck Highway at 2:31 a.m. when he left the roadway and went onto the grassy area to the right of the shoulder and loss control.

The man died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash, according to authorities.

The incident happened in the 44000 block of Groesbeck Highway.

Clinton Township police are investigating the crash. Any witnesses are asked to call 586-493-7894.
