NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 33-year-old faces charges after he allegedly put his cellphone under the dress of a 13-year-old girl in Northville Township a bookstore.

Ronald Burrill is charged with felony eavesdropping. He was arraigned Thursday in 35th District Court.

Police said the girl's mother called 911 on Sept. 5 to report that she saw a man kneel behind her daughter and put his cell phone between her legs while she stood at a computer at the Barnes and Noble store on Haggerty and Six Mile roads.

The mother confronted the man, but he fled in a small green pickup truck, police said.

Surveillance images from the store were released to the public as police asked for help in the search for the man.
