DETROIT -

Authorities have used fingerprints to learn the identity of a man who was fatally beaten inside a liquor store in Detroit.

The Wayne County medical examiner's office says the dead man is 45-year-old Carl Bell of Detroit.

Police say a 39-year-old man father and his 15-year-old son attacked him Sunday evening during an argument. Both have been arrested.

Police also are investigating the Saturday evening slaying of another unidentified man who was chased into a market north of downtown by four men and beaten.

One attacker struck the victim in the head with a metal dolly.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested. Police say they're seeking three other suspects.
