Belcher's bond has been set at $250,000. He is being held at the Macomb County Jail. His preliminary examination is June 13.

Police say the victim, 33-year-old Patrick Wisniewski, was driving his motorcycle north on Jefferson Avenue at the 21 Mile Road intersection when Belcher, who was driving south on Jefferson Avenue in a 2008 Chevy Impala, made a left turn at the intersection in front of Wisniewski, striking him on the motorcycle.

Both drivers were transported to McLaren Hospital where Wisniewski was pronounced dead.  Belcher was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
