CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 42-year-old Troy man is facing several counts of criminal sexual conduct for alleged contact he had with a minor he met on a social media website, Canton police said.
Police said an investigation was launched last year into Brett Christopher Lloyd when the victim, who is between 13 and 15, came forward. Police did not release details surrounding Lloyd's contact with the minor or which social media website they met on.

Following his arrest, Lloyd was arraigned Saturday on six counts of criminal sexual conduct. His preliminary exam is May 1.
