WARREN, Mich. – Warren police say a 23-year-old Detroiter is in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times Friday. The incident happened in the 3400 block of Michael Avenue at around 5:15 p.m., according to authorities.
Police say they responded to the scene after reports of a fight, and took the victim to a nearby hospital. The victim is expected to survive, according to police.

The suspect fled the scene before police arrived, but was found at a local hospital getting treatment for non-life threatening injuries. The 33-year-old man from Madison Heights was taken into custody.
