ROYAL OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 54-year-old man has died after being hit by a car while crossing Eight Mile Road in Royal Oak Township.
The man, whose name has not yet been released, was hit Tuesday night just east of Meyers.
The driver that hit the man did stop and stay at the scene. It wasn't immediately clear if any charges would be issued.
The victim had been staying at the Royal Inn.
