Man found shot, killed in middle of street in Inkster

INKSTER, Mich. – A man was found shot to death in the middle of an Inkster street overnight, police say. Three suspects were taken into custody Wednesday morning.

Sources tell Local 4 the shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 4100 block of Moore Street near Inkster and Annapolis. Police say the man was shot multiple times.

Michigan State Police are trying to figure out if the three men taken into custody are connected to the man's death. Local 4's Lauren Podell was in Inkster when police took the men into custody as says one is as young as 13 years old. They were pulled out of a home on Moore Street and placed in hand cuffs.

Police said two of the suspects are juveniles and their parents have been contacted. The third suspect is an adult.

MSP says the men are being brought in for questioning as possible witnesses to the incident.

Police are going door to door to find out if anyone saw the shooter.

The victim has not been identified, but he is an adult.
