WAYNE, Mich. – A man who uses a wheelchair suffered minor injuries after being hit by a vehicle while crossing Michigan Avenue in Wayne, police said.
The incident happened at approximately 6:15 p.m. Monday.
Police said the man was man was trying to cross the street when he was struck by a tan-colored SUV.
Witnesses said the driver who struck the victim is an elderly white woman with white, curly hair.
The injured man was treated for minor injuries, police said.
