DETROIT - A man who is charged in connection with the death of a Detroit mother has waived his preliminary hearing.
Timothy Jones is charged with being an accessory to the murder of Alicia Fox. Her body was found in early June in an abandoned home. She had been shot to death.
Jones is also charged with tampering with evidence and concealing a death.
His arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 19.
Fox's husband, Erin Justice, has been charged with murder in her death and is being held in a Georgia prison. He is fighting extradition to Michigan.

Jones is accused of helping Justice after the slaying.
Meanwhile, Fox's two children, 8-month-old Kristian Justice and 6-year-old Kaylah Hunter, are missing.
Family members, police and volunteers have been looking for them since their mother's body was discovered.
Police have said blood evidence was found in the home Fox and her husband lived in, but they have not concluded whether it belonged to the mother or her children.
