Man robbed after selling armed suspects fake boots

Robbers stole cellphone, money, car

DETROIT – A 28-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint Thursday by three men after he sold them fake boots.

Police say the robbers approached the victim in the 16400 block of East Warren demanding their money back. The victim refused to return the money, and the men robbed him.

The robbers took a Samsung Galaxy S5 cellphone, keys, $150 and a gray 2012 Chrysler 300 with license plate number 'ANZ 3292.' The victim was not injured during the robbery.

Police say all three robbers were armed, black men. One is in his 20s with medium complexion and short hair, and the other is 19 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall with dreadlocks.
