Man robs Dairy Queen with machete in Port Huron

PORT HURON, Mich. – Port Huron police are investigating an armed robbery of a Dairy Queen Tuesday evening where a man ordered a Blizzard and robbed the store with a machete.

The incident happened at the Dairy Queen on Military Street around 6:30 p.m.

A man ordered a Blizzard and when the register drawer opened, the man pulled out a machete and told the clerk to back up.

The machete-wielding robber stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the drawer and fled.

The man is described as white, mid 20s, and about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black and blue parka and black hooded sweatshirt. His face was covered with a gray scarf or handkerchief with skull on it and was wearing gloves.
