Man shot after argument about car keys on Detroit's east side

DETROIT – Police said a man is in critical condition after he was shot Thursday in Detroit.

According to police, the victim, 43, and a 43-year-old woman were arguing at 2:55 p.m. about a set of car keys in the 5000 block of Grayton Street.

The woman pulled out a handgun, police said. During a struggle, the man was shot in the left thigh, police said.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he is listed in critical condition. The woman is in custody, police said.
