DETROIT – A man was shot multiple times Wednesday night while sitting in the kitchen of a home on Detroit's west side.
The man was inside the home on Sorrento Street near Outer Drive and the Lodge when the shots were fired. Police said he tried to take cover, but was hit by several bullets.
He was taken to the hospital in temporary serious condition.
Police have not said what lead to the shooting.
No arrests have been made in the shooting.
