Man struck, killed by train in Romulus

Man was 57-years-old, officials say

ROMULUS, Mich. – Police are investigating after a 57-year-old Inkster man was struck and killed by a train Saturday night in Romulus.

It happened at a railroad crossing on Inkster Road, just south of Citrin Drive. The train was going 40 miles per hour, police said.

Authorities said he may have been working along the tracks when the train crashed.
