Man with 13 prior drunken driving convictions arrested again in Mount Clemens

MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – A man convicted of 13 prior drunken driving charges was arrested for his suspected fourteenth Friday in Mount Clemens.

Zenon Bialokur, 54, is charged with operating while intoxicated, operating with a suspended license and open intoxicants in a moving vehicle.

Authorities said Bialokur was driving a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix at about 7:15 p.m. on Market Street when a deputy saw him driver through a red light.

The deputy examined Bialokur’s driving record and saw that his driving privilege was suspended and that he had 13 prior drunken driving convictions dating back to 1998. He also had 12 current suspensions on his driving privilege and ten convictions for driving with a suspended license.

Bialokur’s vehicle was impounded and he was lodged in the Macomb County Jail. Bialokur was arraigned Tuesday and was given a $50,000 cash-or-surety bond. He is due back in court Jan. 30.
