Meningitis outbreak hitting Michigan hard with 39 confirmed cases

Michigan has 2nd highest fungal meningitis cases nationwide

LANSING, Mich. – According to The Center for Disease Control and Prevention the number of people in Michigan infected with fungal meningitis is now 39. 

Michigan is the second state to have the highest number of people affected by the outbreak.

Tennessee has 49 cases and nationwide 170 people have been infected from tainted steroid injections.
