Metro Detroit Weather: Expect a cooler Fall day Monday

DETROIT – Detroit and Southeast Michigan ride the roller coaster wave up in temperatures on Sunday. Come Monday, we go back down to cooler, fall like conditions.

Sunday morning will be mostly clear the chilly with the wind direction switching to a southwesterly one, temperatures will stay away from the freezing mark. Expect temps in the upper 30s and low 40s as the day progresses.

Outside Ford Field, where the Detroit Lions Play Washington, skies will be mostly the partly sunny, and it will feel like spring time. I will be in the low to mid 60s. There is only a slight chance of some scattered light rain or sprinkles. No washout, by any means. Somebody that will be partly to mostly cloudy and cool. Temperatures will be in the 50s.

Sunday night becomes chili, again. Scott will become mostly clear. Overnight lows recharge low 40s and 30s.
Students can plan for outdoor recess on Monday and Tuesday. Jackets will be needed, because champs will be in the 40s much of the morning and early afternoon. Afternoon readings will be in the low 50s to around 55°F.

Wednesday and Thursday become cloudy here. Rain showers return for both days, as well. They charge jobs will be in the middle and upper 50s, nighttime lows stay away from three; in the 40s.
