A 32-year-old Michigan man remains jailed after being arrested by New York State Police who say he left his two sons in a hotel to deliver drugs to a music festival.
Troopers say they stopped Randy Doviak of Kimball, Mich., over the weekend for texting while driving as he traveled in in Duanesburg, where the three-day Camp Bisco festival was being held.
Police say Doviak had hashish and marijuana in his vehicle. Officials say he told troopers he had left his sons, ages 8 and 13, and a hotel in nearby Schenectady while he delivered drugs to the festival.
Troopers say more hashish and pot was found inside Doviak's room when they checked on the boys.
Doviak is being held without bail. It couldn't immediately be determined if he had a lawyer.
