Michigan native Tony Lucca performs on 'The Voice'

Lucca performs Monday night, Cher will perform on season finale

Michigan native Tony Lucca and music icon Cher have both signed on to debut new singles on NBC's "The Voice."

Lucca performed on Monday night's live elimination show. He debuted his new single "Never Gonna Let You Go."

Lucca rose to fame after finishing in the top four on "The Voice" last year. He was with Team Adam Levine. He signed with Levine's record label after the competition was complete.

Last year, Lucca caught attention on the show for a couple of tense moments with Judge Christina Aguilera. Lucca was a member of the cast of the Mickey Mouse Club television show at the same time Aguilera was on the show.

Lucca is set to go on tour in July.

NBC also announced Monday that Cher has agreed to perform on the season finale of "The Voice" on Tuesday, June 18.

Cher is scheduled to perform her new single "Woman's World" off her upcoming album with the same name that is due out in September. This marks the first album in 12 years for Cher.

Cher is the only artist to have a No. 1 single on the Billboard pop charts in each of the past six decades. She is also a Grammy winner, Oscar winner, Emmy winner and a Golden Globe winner.
