US Coast Guard removes summer buoys from Great Lakes

DETROIT –  U.S. Coast Guard crews are out on the Great Lakes removing the summer buoys.

Starting this week crews will be out daily to replace them with winter buoys which is a sign that cold temperatures are on the way.  Buoy tenders are hard at work on the Great Lakes.
