MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. – Madison Heights Police are investigating the cause of an accident that claimed the life of a 50-year-old woman from Sterling Heights and hospitalized another Saturday morning.
The accident happened on southbound Dequindre Road, just south of 14 Mile Road.

Police say three vehicles in total were involved and the early investigation suggests that one driver crossed over the center line and hit anther vehicle head-on.
The third car wasn't involved in the initial accident, but struck one of the cars afterwards.
There is no indication at this time if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
