46-year-old man found shot to death at Romulus home

Romulus police searching for murder victim's pickup truck, motorcycle

ROMULUS, Mich. – Romulus police are investigating the murder of a 46-year-old man who was found shot to death Thursday night at a home on Cherry Street near the intersection of Middlebelt and Eureka roads.

A woman called 911 after she found the man, who is her ex-boyfriend and former co-worker, dead in the living room. She told 911 she had gone to the home to check on him.

Inside the home, police officers found what they are calling a crime scene. The man appeared to have multiple gunshot wounds. The Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office is investigating an exact cause of death.

Police say the man's 2008 black, 4-door Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with Michigan plate CHA7156 was missing from the residence and has not been found. Police also are searching for the man's 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle with chrome wheels and muffler and Michigan plate BB528.

The Romulus Police Department has issued a "be on the lookout" for the pickup and motorcycle. If you see them contact your local police department.
