CENTER LINE, Mich. – The Center Line Public Safety Department said an 85-year-old man drove his Jeep into a hardware store on Monday.
The man pulled the jeep into a parking space when his foot slipped off the brake pedal and hit the accelerator, police said.

The Jeep went over the sidewalk and through the front of the ACO Hardware store in the 7300 block of 10 Mile Road.
The driver was not injured, nor was anyone inside the store.
