HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. – The Amber Alert issued for a 6-month-old girl has been cancelled after the girl was found safe in Southfield.

Highland Park Police say Southfield Police recognized the car outside of a home and were able to safely recover the child.

Nevaeh Cantrell-Jones was taken from her home in Highland Park around 3a.m. by her father, Brandon Cantrell and his brother, Maurice Brown. The suspects entered the home armed with a gun and forcibly took the child from her mother.

Highland Park Police have no additional information at this time.
