Hay-Wells syndrome is a very rare form of ectodermal dysplasia.
Brown is covered in medicine and wrapped in a special gauze on a daily basis to help protect her skin.
The benefit concert is scheduled at Uptown Grill in Commerce Township on Sunday.
Donations to the family can also be made at any TCF Bank to the Erin Brown Fund, or using PayPal to email@example.com.
