Construction on I-75 expected to cause delays

Alternate route suggested for southbound travelers over long weekend

SAGINAW – Memorial Day weekend travelers may be rerouted due to construction and long delays expected on southbound I-75 near Saginaw. Southbound I-75 near the Zilwaukee Bridge remains closed from north of Saginaw to the south junction with I-675. All traffic is being detoured to southbound I-675.

In addition, the northbound ramp to southbound I-75 is also closed. In order to access southbound I-75, motorists can take northbound I-75 to M-84.

The ramp from Adams Street to access southbound I-75 is closed as well. Traffic will be rerouted to Tittabawassee Road, then to I-696, where motorists can then take southbound I-75.

Janes Road is closed and detoured to Outer Drive, Wadsworth Avenue, and Tower Line Road.

The M-13 ramp to southbound I-75 is closed as well. Traffic has been rerouted to I-675 and then to southbound I-75.

The M-81 ramp to southbound I-75 is also closed. Traffic will be rerouted to M-13, and then to southbound I-675, where motorists can then get in southbound I-75.
