Ex-Michigan State University gymnastics doctor bound over for trial

The case against Dr. Larry Nassar is getting more complicated and disturbing every time there is a court hearing.

Nassar was bound over for trial Wednesday.

The last one brought to light graphic evidence against Nassar. Once a distinguished doctor, the former Michigan State University gymnastics physician and the doctor of four U.S. Olympic gymnastics teams is accused of having child pornography and gathering illegal materials between 2003 and 2006.

More than 60 women have filed complaints alleging abuse under the guise of invasive medical exams. The women who made reports could be any of his patients from Team USA or MSU.

According to Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette, claims against Nassar started when a family-friend said she was sexually assaulted in his home from July 1998 until January 2005, when she was only a child.

Nassar currently faces three charges of criminal sexual conduct, though the charges could be changed or more could be added as the investigation continues.

Nassar faces a judge for his preliminary examination Friday.
