FBI offers reward for information pertaining to bank robbery

Investigation continues for two Pontiac bank robberies

PONTIAC, Mich. – The FBI has approved a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of an individual related to two bank robberies.

The FBI Detroit Field Office is working jointly with the Oakland County Sheriff's Office on the investigation of two Pontiac bank robberies. Both banks were robbed by an individual with similar physical characteristics. In both instances, the bank robber provided the teller with a note and threatened a gun.

The robberies occurred at Genisys Credit Union, 44400 Woodward Avenue, and Bank of America, 41 North Saginaw, in Pontiac on March 3.
