Severe thunderstorms move through Metro Detroit counties

DETROIT – Severe thunderstorms moved through southeastern Michigan Monday afternoon and evening.

Minor damage has been reported including several downed wires and trees. Some areas saw more rain and wind than others.

Local 4 viewers have been sending in photos of some dark, ominous clouds.

The severe thunderstorm warning for Oakland County has expired.

Severe thunderstorm warnings issued earlier on Monday for Macomb, Genesee, St. Clair and Lapeer counties also have expired.
