Jury deliberations will resume Thursday morning for the trial in the death of 19-year-old Renisha McBride.
During Wednesday's closing arguments, prosecutors focused on the fact that Theodore Wafer picked up his shotgun instead of calling police.

However, the defense emphasized Wafer shot Mcbride in self-defense, after fearing for his life.
The jury deliberated for several hours on Wednesday but did not reach a verdict.
Wafer shot McBride back in November of last year after she showed up on the front porch of his Dearborn Heights home.
Wafer says he thought McBride was an intruder after he heard pounding on his front door.
