Man suffers cuts during meth lab explosion

CHARLOTTE, Mich. - Police are investigating an explosion inside an Eaton County apartment that may have been used as a methamphetamine lab.

A 31-year-old man suffered severe cuts in Friday night's explosion in downtown Charlotte, about 17 miles southwest of Lansing. He later was taken to the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor for treatment.

The blast left a hole in the building's second floor.

No arrests have been made.
