EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State student Dominique Nolff died Saturday morning after being shot just off campus in his apartment Friday night.
East Lansing Police are searching for a suspect who shot Nolff and another Michigan State student in the incident.

Both victims were transported to Sparrow Hospital after the incident. The other victim, a 20-year old male from Grand Haven, has been treated and released.
Police were called to the Cedar Village apartment complex on Cedar Street just before 9 p.m. for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they discovered two victims had been shot.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. He is described as a black male, 20 to 25 years old, wearing tan pants, a black coat, and black shoes or boots.
East Lansing Police are still investigating the shooting but do not believe this is a random act. Anyone with information is asked to call the East Lansing Police Department at 517-319-6884.
