Michigan State University student stabbed to death

23-year-old Rochester native pronounced dead at hospital with multiple stab wounds

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A Michigan State University student from Rochester was stabbed to death early Saturday.  

According to police, 23-year-old Andrew Michael Singler was stabbed multiple times at an apartment at Castle Pointe Apartments around 4 a.m.  He was later pronounced dead at Sparrow Hospital.

Police used K-9 units to investigate the stabbing and arrested one suspect.

The suspect is currently being held at the Ingham County Jail awaiting arraignment.
