MICHIGAN – Michigan wolf hunting licenses go on sale next month for the first time since 1974 when they were placed on the endangered species list.
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources announced that 1,200 licenses will be available Aug. 3 to Oct. 31, or until the quota is met. The licenses are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and cost $100 for Michigan residents and $500 for non-residents.

The licenses are available for purchase online at any authorized license agent, several DNR offices, or online at www.michigan.gov/huntdrawings.
