Motorcyclist dies in crash on Michigan Avenue in Dearborn

Westbound Michigan Avenue shut down at Gulley Street

DEARBORN, Mich. – A 35-year-old Inkster man was killed in a motorcycle accident early Thursday morning.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. at westbound Michigan Avenue near Gulley.

Michigan Avenue had been shut down in that immediate area for several hours, but reopened at about 6:30 a.m.

The investigation into whether drugs or alcohol were involved continues.

Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad and his department have expressed their sympathies to all those involved in the accident.

The City of Dearborn has experienced several deadly accidents in recent weeks.
