LANSING, Mich. – Michigan beer drinkers may want to raise a toast to a pair of state representatives who are proposing a law to guarantee an honest pint of beer.
The proposal would amend the Michigan Liquor Control Act and would make it an offense to advertise or sell a glass of beer as a pint if it is less than 16 ounces of beer.

The bill is now in a State House committee.
