DETROIT - The Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign is off to a good start but more volunteers are needed in Plymouth.
Last week, the drive raised just more than $43,000 -- about 19 percent of the $225,000 goal.
Christmas time fundraising is not just for assistance during the holidays. It also accounts for 30 to 40 percent of the annual budget.
