Showers move in early Thursday, cool temps

DETROIT – Showers are moving across Southeast Michigan early Thursday with the best chance for soaking rains north of M 59 and I-69 during the early morning hours. Rain chances weaken to just spotty showers across Metro Detroit but roads may still be a bit slick for the morning commute. Lows will be in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. But, by afternoon the sun returns bringing temps into the upper 60s with gusty winds from the southwest 10-20 mph.

Friday will start off dry as temps near 70 degrees. Showers will start moving in around dinner time which means some Friday Night Football games will be a bit sloppy.
