PONTIAC - Family, friends and classmates gathered Saturday to remember a loved one that was killed in Pontiac a week ago.
32-year-old Rosaline Lee was found dead along the shore of Terry Lake. An autopsy revealed she was strangled. Her van was found a few blocks away.
Lee was laid to rest Saturday afternoon at Monument of Faith Missionary in Pontiac. A vigil was held in the evening.
Lee was last seen Sunday morning around 3 a.m and investigators believe she was murdered soon after. Police say her body was dumped in the lake before a fisherman discovered it.
Detectives found Lee's van a block away from the lake. People who live nearby told police it was parked in the area around 10 p.m. Saturday night.
Police have been following up on leads and searching every inch of this van and they are hoping to find something that will lead them to the killer.
