Local 4 would like to correct a story we aired last month about a former police sergeant involved in a confrontation over a stolen cellphone.
In the story – we said David Pomeroy was accused of using racial epithets during the confrontation; in fact, he was not.

We also reported Pomeroy was fired after his incident; he, in fact, retired.
Pomeroy received probation for failing to uphold the law.
