WARREN, Mich. - New York Times best-selling author and award-winning Detroit journalist Mitch Albom will sign copies of his highly-acclaimed new book, "The First Phone Call From Heaven," at Art Van Furniture in Warren.
Art Van says the first 500 guests will receive a complimentary copy of Albom's novel.
The "Art Van Wonderland" book signing event, which takes place from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, is the first public opportunity for guests to receive a signed copy of Albom's new novel.

"Mitch Albom is a shining star in the city of Detroit," said Gary Van Elslander, president of Art Van Furniture. "His heartwarming, moving and thought-provoking novels are always a wonderful read, and an autographed copy would be a special gift for anyone."
